Captains Morgans Log: 6/4/2015.
So we moved up from Ambleside through Jenkin's Crag heading toward Staveley. The fog was right down again so not very much visibility. We ended up near a farm looking for the right footpath then someone came out to give us directions. Unfortunately his directions took us 5 miles North of Staveley. This was a blow as we did 45 the day before and again it was looking like a late finish.
After we finally managed to get to Staveley, we stopped a wonderful lunch at a Cafe called Eclec which is also an antique show. From there we moved on towards the A6 above Kendal and then on towards Tebay and finally Ravenstonedale. This day turned out to be a killer as we had to make up for lost time, so more running than walking. Again no chance of a meal do we had to muster what was left in the bags. Tomorrow will hopefully be an easier day of 26 miles.
